This stream was lilting down the hillside when I looked over to see a stretch of trees, hills, and mountains as far as I could see. The mountains became lighter and thinner strips of colour across the horizon until it simply blended in. It felt like a walk through a fairytale setting, not the alpine hikes we are used to at home.
The Scotland Collection is an ongoing body of work that draws visual reference from a road trip my wife and I took through Scotland in spring of 2023. It is inspired by queer ancestry and what their lives might have been like, imbued with my personal experiences of love, friendship, and queerness. Read more here.
