This painting is so special to me, all of the little flowers are the last seeds planted of letting things go and letting it bloom. Observing the thing planted in a new way, beautiful and positive, and closing out the day/decade/relationship with a warm glowy peaceful sunset.
Flowers in full bloom, the stage in their cycle before death. Sunsets in spectacular glory, the last show before dark. The Golden Hour Collection, for me, is a delightful celebration of the last decade of painting and my life, and a share of the love I have and had for the many people who came in and went.
