The Vennel Steps are an unusual vantage point to see Edinburgh Castle from. The little alleyway is lined with old dwellings and quaint street lamps, and lovely blooming flowers while we were there in the spring. As with most alleys in Edinburgh, it feels like a tucked away secret shortcut.
The Scotland Collection is an ongoing body of work that draws visual reference from a road trip my wife and I took through Scotland in spring of 2023. It is inspired by queer ancestry and what their lives might have been like, imbued with my personal experiences of love, friendship, and queerness. Read more here.
