This painting shows healing. It shows happiness. It’s about finding those things inside yourself AND ALLOWING yourself to have it when you do find them. It’s about how when you lose something it just makes way for new. Flowers die and new ones grow. The garden of life doesn’t end, it just cycles.

My canvas prints are available in sizes that are quite easy to find frames for.
They can be framed without glass in front because of the soft, non-reflective, matte canvas finish.
Frame the print flat & mounted to a board (with acid-free adhesive) just like you would a regular paper print.

Packaging: All prints ship rolled in a tube or in a flat mailer
Shipping prices: Range from $10 - $35 depending on the size of the print and the receiver’s location, calculated at checkout.
Buyers outside of the Canada are responsible for any and all duties and taxes that your package may incur upon entering your country.

My most commonly asked question - How did you get all that texture in it?!
Here’s a bit more about my process of taking a textured painting all the way to a canvas print - done entirely by me, Carly.
Photographing: I use a macro lens on a DSLR camera to take highly detailed images of my paintings. I make sure the natural light is bright but soft, and I hang the painting somewhere that will be the best to recreate hanging in your home. I make sure the sunlight direction highlights the “light source” of the painting, and create just a small bit of shadow to show the texture of the oil paint.
Editing: I take the multiple detail photos I take of each painting and put them into Photoshop - arranging, adjusting, and blending them to get a single digital file.
Printing: I have a giant printer in my house that I produce all my prints with. I do multiple colour tests to get the print to say exactly what I want from the original.
Packaging, shipping, etc: I am proud to say all prints are printed, cut, labelled, packed, and shipped from my studio in Edmonton, Alberta.

This painting is a study for Magic Meadow, where I wanted to play with this gorgeous sunset we had over our home one day and creating a wildflower garden like the one we’ve got in our front yard too. The piece for me plays with the ideas of seeing what you plant in your own life come to fruition.
